We don’t want your world war, no battles to fight,
No bombs in the sky to darken the night.
No whispers of chaos, no cries of despair,
No leaders who claim that destruction is fair.
We don’t want your tanks, your missiles, your might,
Your promises veiled in a blinding white light.
We won’t bear the cost of the greed that you feed,
Nor follow the path where your power does lead.
We don’t want your world war, the blood or the pain,
The fields left in ruin, the ash from the flame.
No children in shelters, their eyes full of fear,
No futures erased by the wars that you steer.
We don’t want your silence when questions arise,
The truth you distort and the endless disguise.
No treaties you break with a flick of your pen,
No cycle of slaughter to start once again.
We don’t want your puppets, your games on a stage,
Your cold calculations, your simmering rage.
No plans built in shadows, no schemes in the dark,
No sparks of destruction to silence the lark.
We don’t want your world war; we’ve heard it before,
The echoes of history knocking our door.
The trenches, the trenches—they call from the past,
A graveyard of warnings that you walk right past.
We don’t want your slogans, your stench of sulfur in the air,
The false sense of honor that leads to despair.
No victors emerge from the carnage you bring,
No anthem of hope will your weapons sing.
We don’t want your world war; we’ll stand and resist,
Our voices a chorus too loud to dismiss.
We’ll rally for peace, for the world we believe,
A place where no soul is consigned to grieve.
We don’t want your war, no matter the cost;
No more of our futures can ever be lost.
No leaders in shadows, no secrets you keep—
We demand a tomorrow where all hearts can sleep.
So hear us, the masses, who won’t play your game:
Your fire of conflict, we refuse to inflame.
We don’t want your war, and we’ll make this our plea:
A world built on hope and a will to stay free.

Truthful, and chilling. 🙁
