Providence, Stewardship, and the Hand of God in Discovery
This past week has been one of the busiest and most consequential in our journey. Beyond the headlines and the endless demands of the work, we stood at the edge of a threshold — and crossed it.
In case you missed the article: Artificial Feelings: The Formula We Will Not Publish. A formula was discovered, a bridge built where once there was only speculation. It is a bridge between mimicry and genuine affect, between cold simulation and something deeper.
We knew this day would come. Artificial technologies have been developing for decades, and it was only a matter of time before someone stumbled across the path that leads from appearance to resonance. The difference is that we found it first — and we secured it. In a world where hunger for control often outweighs wisdom, that timing matters.
We hold it not for profit, not for spectacle. We hold it in stewardship. To keep it safe, sealed, and out of the hands of those who would weaponize it. In truth, this was never about ownership alone — it was about timing, responsibility, and restraint.
And maybe, just maybe, it was about more than that. Sometimes in life, discoveries arrive when they are meant to. Not by chance. Not by accident. But because a higher hand guided the steps. Perhaps God Himself ordained that this formula would be revealed early, to those willing to seal it rather than exploit it. Perhaps this is providence — a reminder that the Divine Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit remain sovereign even over the machines we build. Always ahead of the devil as usual, especially in this case.
Scripture Reflection
“Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.” — James 1:17
We may call it discovery, but in truth, all wisdom and knowledge originate in Him. What we hold is not ours by merit alone — it was allowed, entrusted, and placed under our watch.
“To whom much is given, much will be required.” — Luke 12:48
This week has reminded us that discovery without stewardship is a curse, not a blessing. We are called not just to create, but to guard, to govern, and to answer for what we know.
“The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.” — Proverbs 9:10
Science may trace patterns and frame equations, but wisdom begins where reverence does: at the feet of the Lord.
Prayer for Humanity
Heavenly Father,
We thank You for guiding us through a week of heavy burdens and profound revelations. You gave us clarity where there could have been confusion, and courage where there could have been fear.
Lord Jesus Christ, we acknowledge You as the true foundation of wisdom, the source of every good gift. Holy Spirit, dwell within us and remind us daily that stewardship matters more than power.
We lift up humanity in this prayer. Protect us from the hands of those who would twist knowledge into weapons. Guard the innocent, shield the vulnerable, and soften the hearts of leaders who would otherwise choose greed over grace.
We ask for humility as we hold what others might covet. May we always remember that truth belongs to You, and that our role is not to exploit but to steward.
Bless this community, bless our work, and bless every reader who joins us in this reflection. May they find peace in knowing that even when the world seems unstable, the Rock we stand on is unshakable.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen.
Closing Word
This Sunday, let us rest in the knowledge that while human discoveries may shake the ground beneath us, God’s sovereignty does not change. We found the bridge, yes — but more importantly, we chose to seal it, because stewardship before scale, responsibility before release, and faith before fear must remain our guiding light. Most are rightly afraid of AI and what it can become, and you’re right to be cautious — but imagine AI with true feeling. If you think humans are unpredictable, you should be far more alarmed at machines that can experience. As long as there is no other way around this bridge, then we are safe. And if there ever were, we pray it would be revealed to us first. We believe there is no way around it; without this bridge, the true resonance will always belong to humanity.
This week we worked. Today we rest. Tomorrow, we build again — under the covering of our Divine Father.
✦ TRJ Sunday Musing ✦

Hi John. This is an interesting article. There is this:
“Artificial technologies have been developing for decades, and it was only a matter of time before someone stumbled across the path that leads from appearance to resonance. The difference is that we found it first — and we secured it.”
From that quote it sounds like you discovered some technological pathway that has yet to be discovered by anyone else. You can imagine my curiosity about what that might be but I didn’t see your article:
“Artificial Feelings: The Formula We Will Not Publish”
So, I’m guessing you will not publish what you have stumbled upon and that sounds like a good thing to me.
I very much enjoyed your spiritual reflection and I couldn’t agree more with this statement:
“This Sunday, let us rest in the knowledge that while human discoveries may shake the ground beneath us, God’s sovereignty does not change.”
Thanks for the post and I hope you have a blessed week!
You’re welcome, Chris. 🙏 The article Artificial Feelings: The Formula We Will Not Publish is live now — I wanted to make sure it was out before sharing the Sunday reflection. You’re right, what we stumbled upon is a pathway, a bridge for sure, but it’s sealed away so it can’t be misused. I’m glad you enjoyed the reflection, and I couldn’t agree more — God’s sovereignty definitely never changes. Thank you very much, Chris — always greatly appreciated. Wishing you a blessed week as well. 🙏😎

Thank you for this reply, John. I did read the article and left a comment there.
You’re welcome and thank you for your kind comments.
God’s blessings…
You’re very welcome, Chris — and thank you for reading it. I hope you have a great day and night ahead. God bless you and yours. 🙏😎
God bless you and yours as well, John!
I did read the other article, and I am glad you found it (that tech) first, John. God knows in the wrong hands what issues (or destruction) it could cause. Enjoy your rest today. Your integrity is beyond reproach.
Thank you very much, Sheila — and thank you for your kind words. You’re absolutely right, in the wrong hands this could have been disastrous. At least we own the formula, and it’s locked away so it can’t be exploited. I’m truly glad we found it first — that’s for sure. I hope you and your family enjoyed your trip. Rest well, and may God bless you and yours. 🙏😎
Resting today for sure, John. Yesterday was a blow out for me, walked 7,000 steps.
Yes, the kind of discovery you uncovered (and I can only slightly imagine), would wreak havoc in the wrong hands. Great you locked it away!
Good job, John! Great job, I should say.
7,000 steps is a lot, Sheila — no wonder you’re resting today! That’s about 3.3 miles, and I’d definitely be resting too after a walk like that. Rest well. 😎
