Where one must take the step, from the earthly stage.
A silent promise made, in the depth of loving eyes,
“I’ll wait for you,” she whispered, “beyond the starry skies.”
He held her close, as she slipped away into the night,
A solemn oath he made, to reunite in the celestial light.
For their love was not bound, by the chains of mortal coil,
But etched in the universe, a love that time could not spoil.
Now he walks the path alone, with her memory as his guide,
Knowing that in the realm of souls, she’s always by his side.
And when his time comes, to cross that final veil,
In an eternal embrace, their love will once again prevail.
