- Black women and girls make up a disproportionate number of the nation’s missing people, with recent initiatives like the ‘Ebony Alert’ being considered to help find missing Black women and girls.
Hispanic Women
- Last year, more than 270,000 women and girls went missing across the country, with Hispanic women being significantly affected.
Asian Women
- The exact number of missing Asian women is challenging to determine due to underreporting and lack of specific categorization in national databases.
Latest Missing Persons Found
- Recently, the body found in the Penobscot River was identified as a Greenbush man who had been missing since mid-April.
- In another case, a body was found in Leazes Park during the search for a missing Northumberland teenager.
