In a move that has raised significant concerns about the state of free speech in America, InfoWars, the media platform founded by Alex Jones, is being liquidated. This development stems from a series of lawsuits related to Jones’s controversial statements about the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting. While the court rulings focus on defamation, this situation also marks a chilling moment for those who value the right to free speech. What we are witnessing is more than just a legal battle—it’s a direct attack on the First Amendment itself. For years, InfoWars has been the target of government scrutiny and media backlash, and now it appears the government has found a way to silence the platform completely.
The liquidation of InfoWars raises a number of questions, not just for Alex Jones and his platform but for everyone who owns or operates a media outlet, blog, or website. What happens when the government no longer tolerates the opinions and information shared on independent platforms? What does this mean for The Realist Juggernaut and all the voices that don’t align with the government’s narrative?
The Targeting of InfoWars: Years in the Making
InfoWars is no stranger to controversy. Since its inception, the platform has gained notoriety for its provocative content and what they call conspiracy theories. However, in recent years, the platform has been relentlessly targeted by both government entities and major corporations, facing deplatforming efforts and financial attacks that have crippled its ability to function. The defamation cases related to Sandy Hook were merely the final blow in a much longer campaign to eliminate InfoWars from the public sphere.
From PayPal to YouTube, every major tech company cut ties with InfoWars under the guise of “violating terms of service.” While this was framed as a corporate decision, it was clear that the pressure came from powerful forces, including the government. Over time, these actions escalated from banning content to attacking the very foundation of the platform—its financial survival. Alex Jones and his team fought back for years, but the Sandy Hook defamation lawsuit opened the door for the liquidation of InfoWars, marking a dangerous shift in how free speech is treated in America.
Free Speech Under Attack: The Government’s Role
What’s truly alarming is the government’s role in all of this. The First Amendment was established to protect speech, especially unpopular or controversial opinions, from government overreach. The moment we start making exceptions for what type of speech is protected, the entire foundation of free expression begins to erode. In the case of InfoWars, the government and its legal system have set a precedent where if your words are deemed unacceptable, even if they fall under the broad protection of free speech, your platform can be dismantled.
This isn’t just about defamation—it’s about control. The government has strategically framed this as a legal issue, deflecting from the broader concern that any platform could be silenced for sharing content the government deems harmful. If it can happen to InfoWars, who is to say it won’t happen to other platforms?
What Does This Mean for The Realist Juggernaut?
For those of us who run independent platforms like The Realist Juggernaut, this should be a wake-up call. Our mission has always been to provide a space for unity, free speech, and open discussion. But if InfoWars, with all of its resources, can be shut down, then no platform is truly safe. The government is sending a message loud and clear: If you say something they don’t like, they will find a way to dismantle your work.
This directly undermines the Constitution’s protections. The government is increasingly using lawsuits and financial warfare to dismantle platforms they disagree with, bypassing the traditional means of censorship. If they succeed in liquidating InfoWars, what’s to stop them from coming after The Realist Juggernaut, or any other independent media platform? The answer is clear—nothing. Without public pushback, platforms like ours are at risk of being targeted next. We’re already seeing shadow banning, algorithm manipulation, and demonetization, which are all early warning signs of more aggressive censorship. We stand in full solidarity with InfoWars and the ongoing battle for free speech.
Standing in Solidarity with InfoWars: Recasting The Alex Jones Show
I’ve been listening to InfoWars for a long time, and I’ll be the first to admit that, in the beginning, some of the information Alex Jones covered seemed crazy—even to me. But over time, a lot of what he talked about turned out to be true, and that’s why InfoWars has become such a powerful source of awakening for so many. It’s not just about conspiracy theories—it’s about challenging the mainstream narrative and digging deeper into truths that often get buried.
In solidarity with InfoWars and the battle for free speech, The Realist Juggernaut will be including recasts of The Alex Jones Show in our podcast lineup. We believe it’s essential to support those who have been targeted simply for speaking their mind. These attacks on InfoWars are part of a larger effort to suppress independent voices, and we refuse to stand by silently.
We’ll be running select recasts of The Alex Jones Show a couple of times a month, giving our audience the opportunity to hear content that has been aggressively silenced. Our decision to include these recasts isn’t solely about supporting Alex Jones—it’s about defending free speech and ensuring that diverse perspectives remain accessible. We view this as an essential part of our mission to resist censorship and stand against government overreach.
There may be aspects of The Alex Jones Show you don’t agree with, and that’s perfectly fine—you’re not obligated to listen. Even I find myself disagreeing with some of what Alex and his guests say at times. But that’s exactly what free speech is about: giving everyone the opportunity to express their ideas, regardless of whether we agree with them.
Stay tuned as we integrate The Alex Jones Show into our podcast schedule. These will be recasts of previously aired shows, but the message remains as relevant as ever. Together, we can stand up for independent media and the freedom to speak without fear of being silenced.
The Slippery Slope for Free Speech
The liquidation of InfoWars sets a dangerous precedent, one that extends far beyond the scope of a single platform. This isn’t just about Alex Jones or the content he produced—this is about the broader implications for everyone who values free speech. If the government can silence InfoWars through financial attacks and legal pressure, what’s stopping them from doing the same to other voices they find inconvenient?
This is particularly concerning because of the government’s increasing collaboration with big tech companies. These companies have significant control over the dissemination of information, and their partnerships with government agencies give them the ability to suppress speech on a massive scale. With InfoWars gone, the government has demonstrated that it can use a combination of legal pressure and corporate cooperation to eliminate platforms that don’t align with their views. This is how free speech dies—not with a bang, but with a quiet, systematic campaign to eliminate dissent.
What Can Be Done?
As platform owners, we must be vigilant. The liquidation of InfoWars is not just an isolated incident—it is part of a broader strategy to control the narrative and silence opposition. This is a critical time for free speech advocates to stand up and make their voices heard. We must raise awareness about what is happening, not just to InfoWars but to all platforms that provide a space for alternative opinions.
It’s essential that we educate our readers and communities about these issues. If the public remains unaware, the government will continue to erode free speech under the guise of legality. We must also support platforms like InfoWars that have been targeted by the government. Even if we don’t agree with all of their content, the principle of free speech is at stake, and if we don’t stand up now, it could be too late.
For The Realist Juggernaut, this means continuing to publish truthful content, despite the risks. We have seen how the government and big tech companies are willing to manipulate algorithms and suppress content, but we cannot let that stop us. Our mission of unity, freedom of speech, and reducing division has never been more critical. Now is the time to double down on that mission and ensure that our voices are heard.
Conclusion: A Call to Action
The liquidation of InfoWars is more than just a legal issue—it’s a warning sign for every platform that values free speech. The government has demonstrated that they are willing to go to great lengths to silence dissenting voices, and this should concern everyone, regardless of political affiliation. The Constitution was designed to protect all speech, especially speech that challenges the status quo. If that protection is no longer guaranteed, then the Republic itself is in danger.
We must be vocal in our opposition to these actions. The free exchange of ideas is the cornerstone of a healthy society, and without it, we risk becoming a nation where only approved narratives are allowed. It’s time to stand up for free speech and ensure that platforms like The Realist Juggernaut can continue to exist without fear of government interference.
This isn’t just about InfoWars—this is about the future of free speech in America. And if we don’t fight to protect it now, we may lose it forever.
John Kerry Wants You Silenced!

I sooo agree with you, “in the beginning, some of the information Alex Jones covered seemed crazy—even to me. But over time, a lot of what he talked about turned out to be true, and that’s why InfoWars has become such a powerful source of awakening for so many. It’s not just about conspiracy theories—it’s about challenging the mainstream narrative and digging deeper into truths that often get buried.”
And that if the government can pressure one platform to shut down a voice, they can do it to others. And then we don’t have a democracy, we have tyranny. We lose our Republic when we lose our Constitution. But most people seem too addicted to their TV, games, fast food, etc. to notice, much less fight for our freedoms anymore. The slippery slope of trading Freedom for Security has become an avalanche. OM
You’re absolutely right—what once seemed far-fetched has often turned out to have more truth to it than many would care to admit. InfoWars has certainly played a role in questioning the status quo and getting people to think critically, even if it’s not always comfortable to face. And you’re spot on about the dangers of silencing voices, no matter how controversial they may be. When we allow the government or any powerful entity to shut down one voice, it’s only a matter of time before others are silenced as well.
It’s alarming how many people seem willing to trade their freedoms for convenience or the illusion of safety, all while our foundational rights are being eroded. The Constitution is the bedrock of our Republic, and without it, we’re on a fast track to losing everything that makes this country what it is. Unfortunately, as you’ve mentioned, so many are distracted or disengaged. But it’s up to those of us who still see the value in liberty to speak out and challenge what’s happening before it’s too late. Thank you again for your insight—hopefully, more people will start to wake up before we lose it all.
For once, I wish I wasn’t right. But I think we’re pretty close to the truth.
Absolutely! 😎
I’m in the UK and I hadn’t heard about that platform or the legal action which you mention. I do know though that Free Speech is under attack in a similar way over here. It doesn’t seem a bad idea for material which overtly encourages people to engage in violence to be removed, but now material which challenges the narrative the government wants upheld seems under attack too. In my own small way I criticise those running things on social media platforms, and my reach seems to have decreased. It could be that people aren’t interested, or that they’re frightened to Like those posts, but those reactions are worrying in themselves. It’s not a good situation. 😐
Thank you for sharing your thoughts from the UK, Laura! It’s no surprise to hear free speech is under attack there too. They know we’re being censored, and it’s becoming more obvious that anyone challenging the government’s narrative is being targeted. It’s one thing to remove content that incites violence, but when they start suppressing opinions and facts that don’t fit the agenda, that’s a real threat to our freedoms. The fact that people might be afraid to even like or engage with posts is a clear sign of how bad things have gotten. We just have to keep pushing back and making our voices heard, no matter how hard they try to silence us. We just have to stay strong and keep speaking out! 😎
Amen to that! 🙁
