Tonight the skies are set ablaze,
In crimson sparks and silver haze.
A thousand echoes shake the ground,
As freedom’s voice returns to sound.

The flag ascends through smoke and flame,
Each stripe a scar, each star a name.
For those who bled, for those who stood,
And carved their hopes in flesh and wood.

They faced the crown, they broke the chain,
They stood through fire, frost, and rain.
Not for the gold, nor throne, nor crown—
But just to keep their banner down.

In Seventy-Six, they dared proclaim,
Their right to life, their rightful claim.
With ink and fire, their words took flight,
Declaring freedom, birth of light.

Freedom was never bought and sold,
It’s hammered out from iron cold.
It’s sweat and grit, it’s fight and strife,
It’s laying down your very life.

It’s not in fireworks alone,
But in the seeds our hands have sown.
It’s in the oath to guard the land,
To rise again and make a stand.

For every burst that lights the night,
There’s one who stood to guard the right.
The fight endures through young and sage,
Across each line on history’s page.

So raise your glass, but raise it high—
Not just for flags that touch the sky,
But for the ones who still endure,
To keep the heart of freedom pure.

And when the final ember’s flown,
Remember what this night has shown:
The cost is steep, the burden grave,
But freedom’s worth the fight to save.
