We wanted to take a moment to check in and let everyone know that as December moves forward, we’re doing okay so far. It hasn’t been perfect, but progress matters—and we’re still here, still building, still moving.
Over the past few weeks, The Realist Juggernaut website received another significant backend coding update focused on stability, performance, and long-term reliability. This wasn’t a cosmetic change. It was foundational work—the kind that doesn’t always show on the surface, but makes everything function better underneath. The site is now more stable and better prepared for continued growth.
Along with that update, we’ve introduced something new.
An intelligent Orb helper named O.R.I.O.N.
At this stage, O.R.I.O.N. is still in early development. As of now, it can:
- Look up articles by month
- Look up articles by day
- Look up articles by year
- Look up articles by month and year
- Respond to simple interactions such as hello and you’re welcome
The system is very fast and, like any early-stage tool, it can and will occasionally make mistakes. That’s expected. Building an intelligent assistant inside a WordPress environment is extremely challenging. WordPress was never designed to support this kind of autonomous logic or modular code structure, which means the bot has to navigate a framework that wasn’t built for it. The same challenges apply to other critical custom modules operating throughout the site and connected to our server. In short, we’re pushing WordPress far beyond its conventional use.
The coding applied to TRJ to make this possible is custom and experimental, developed specifically for this site. There is no template solution behind it—every component and function you see on TRJ has been written specifically for this platform. O.R.I.O.N. will continue to improve as the underlying codebase is refined and expanded.
We’re also sharing that we are now officially offering advertising space on the site.
This was a necessary step. Running an independent platform comes with real operational costs, and this helps keep the lights on. While no platform can guarantee views, clicks, or outcomes, our pricing is competitive and structured in a way that many larger platforms will not match.
