POLICE RELEASE SURVEILLANCE VIDEO IN FATAL SHOOTING OF 87-YEAR-OLD ROBERT FULLER JR. AT POTOMAC SENIOR LIVING FACILITY

Detectives with the Montgomery County Department of Police Major Crimes Division have released surveillance footage of a person believed to be connected to the fatal shooting of 87-year-old Robert Fuller Jr., whose body was discovered inside his apartment at a senior living community in Potomac, Maryland. Investigators are requesting public assistance as the homicide inquiry intensifies.

The shooting occurred during the morning hours of Saturday, February 14, 2026, at the Cogir Potomac Senior Living facility located in the 10800 block of Potomac Tennis Lane. First responders located Fuller inside his residence with a gunshot wound to the head. He was pronounced deceased at the scene. Law enforcement officials have not publicly disclosed evidence indicating forced entry, nor have they released information regarding whether the victim and suspect were previously acquainted. Detectives have not identified a clear motive.

As part of the investigative process, homicide detectives conducted a systematic canvass of the property, reviewing internal and perimeter security systems.
