Among the threats documented were plans to crash a vehicle into the Savannah VA Clinic, declarations of intent to “destroy” U.S. citizens, and claims of preparing explosive devices within his residence designed to kill responding law enforcement personnel.

The scope of the threats extended beyond institutional targets. Beatles threatened to kill the children of police officers who attempted to apprehend him, introducing a secondary layer of intimidation aimed at law enforcement families. The language used during these calls demonstrated a pattern of deliberate escalation, transitioning from direct threats against federal property to broader acts of violence framed in mass-casualty terms.

Operational response followed in January 2025, when the Federal Bureau of Investigation, supported by Savannah Police Department SWAT units and Explosive Ordnance Disposal teams, executed the arrest.
