Moons that glow with borrowed light,
Adorn the night, in silver white.
Comets streak with fiery tails,
Across the sky, as night prevails,
Auroras paint with ghostly hand,
A spectral light upon the land.
Galaxies in spirals wide,
A billion suns, side by side,
Whisper secrets, old as time,
In the universal, grand design.
Here we stand, on Earth’s firm ground,
Gazing up, as wonders abound,
In the quiet of the night,
We’re but a whisper, in the flight.
Of celestial wonders, vast and bold,
In the story of the cosmos, told,
We find our place, a tiny part,
Within the universe’s heart.
