- Shared Services Connected Ltd (UK Ministry of Defense Payroll Contractor) Breach:
- Incident: The payroll contractor for the UK Ministry of Defense suffered a breach, presumably by China. Approximately 270,000 records containing names and bank details of both current and past armed forces members were exposed.
- Impact: Sensitive personal information of military personnel is at risk.
- Ascension Healthcare Cyber-Attack:
- Incident: Ascension, a major US healthcare operator with 140 hospitals in 19 states, disclosed a cyber-attack. The threat actors disrupted clinical operations by blocking access to electronic health records, phone systems, and other critical systems.
- Impact: Patient care and safety were compromised.
- Dell Data Breach:
- Incident: Technology giant Dell reported a data breach affecting approximately 49 million customers. The breach exposed purchase details such as full names, home addresses, and order information.
- Impact: Customer privacy and security are at risk.
- IntelBroker Breach on Europol Platform for Experts (EPE):
- Incident: The known threat actor IntelBroker breached the Europol Platform for Experts, exposing personal and biometric data of over 5 million El Salvador citizens. The breach did not compromise operational data.

- MedStar Health Data Breach:
- Incident: MedStar Health confirmed a significant data breach, exposing sensitive data of approximately 183,000 patients. The leaked data includes patient names, email addresses, dates of birth, service details, provider names, and health insurance information.

- NHS Dumfries and Galloway Ransomware Attack:
- Incident: The Scottish healthcare system suffered a ransomware attack, leading to the exposure of children’s health records. The attack is attributed to the INC Ransom group.

- The City of Wichita in the US experienced a ransomware attack, resulting in the shutdown of WiFi and departure screens at the city’s airport. The LockBit ransomware group claimed responsibility for the attack.

- Google released a patch for the Chrome browser (both Mac and Windows) to address a high-severity “use after free” vulnerability in the Visuals component. Successful exploitation could lead to crashes or arbitrary code execution.
