Racism is a specific form of prejudice that involves prejudicial attitudes or behavior toward members of an ethnic group. Racism plays a significant role in this what we are talking about. I don’t know if I’m confusing you or I’m not getting my point across properly, just saying.
I think we’re speaking the same language… just nuances in interpretations.
😎
Something about a gun in the hands of an Arabic American sharpshooter just makes people nervous. 😥
You’re right about that and it’s sad, profiling is never good. There are many people like me that don’t think like that. No-one should jump to conclusions based on someone’s ethnicity or background.
Profiling is natural. It’s how people survive. We must know how to measure a threat. It’s prejudice that’s the problem.
Unfortunately, prejudice and racism persist, and occurring more frequently.
Well I meant to say Over-profiling is never good. Thought I would correct that for the record.
What’s over-profiling?
When I say “over-profiling” its in the context of overthinking about someone, i’m referring to the tendency to overanalyze or excessively think about a person’s actions, motives, or characteristics.
That sounds a lot like prejudice. Shades of grey?
