The moon greets us kindly, a familiar face,

We wave to the craters, the seas of old lore,
Then set our sights further, to see what’s in store.
The planets parade, a grand cosmic show,
With rings, moons, and storms, in an endless tableau.
Jupiter’s eye, Saturn’s elegant grace,
Each a new wonder, in the coldness of space.
The comet tails streak, a painter’s bold brush,
While nebulae bloom, in a soft, ghostly hush.
The universe whispers, with each star that we trace,
Inviting us deeper, into its embrace.
And there in the silence, where time seems to bend,
We find ourselves small, yet part of a trend.
A lineage of explorers, with stars in their eyes,
Seeking answers and beauty, in the boundless skies.
