As of today, shadow banning remains a significant hurdle for The Realist Juggernaut and The Realist Pix, with platforms like Facebook, LinkedIn, MeWe, Gettr, WordPress (which we pay for), and even Wix (which we pay for), actively suppressing content. It’s getting worse; despite persistent efforts to engage audiences and share valuable insights, our posts continue to disappear into the digital void—seen by fewer people than our internal analytics suggest they should be reaching.
The Shadow Banning Reality
Shadow banning refers to the subtle suppression of content where users are unaware their reach is being limited. This practice has become an invisible barrier, particularly for businesses like ours that champion truth, unity, and freedom of speech. Instead of openly banning accounts, platforms manipulate the visibility of posts through algorithmic tweaks, making it harder for us to reach our intended audience.
Today’s analysis, represented in the graph below, highlights the extent of the engagement drop across several major platforms:
- Facebook: 85% drop in engagement
- LinkedIn: 75% drop in engagement
- MeWe: 60% drop in engagement
- Gettr: 90% drop in engagement
- WordPress: 50% drop in engagement
- Wix: 45% drop in engagement

These numbers paint a troubling picture, as they reveal just how drastically our content is being suppressed. Despite an active follower base on all these platforms, interaction rates have plummeted, leaving our messages largely unheard. Posts that used to spark lively discussions and debates now languish in silence, seemingly hidden from the very people who want to engage with us.
The Economic Impact
For a business like The Realist Juggernaut, shadow banning isn’t just a digital inconvenience—it has real-world consequences. As a platform focused on delivering unfiltered truth, we rely heavily on organic engagement to grow our audience and connect with like-minded individuals. When our content is pushed into obscurity, it severely limits our ability to attract new followers and build upon our hard-earned success. This impacts our bottom line, as fewer people are aware of our products, services, or message.
The Realist Pix, in particular, has been hard-hit. As a photography platform showcasing unique, high-quality images, engagement is critical. However, the combination of shadow banning and slower load times on the site has led to a significant decrease in traffic. Customers who once eagerly explored our photography now struggle to see our posts on social media, and fewer are visiting the website due to performance issues as well.
Why Is This Happening?
The reason behind this suppression lies within the complex algorithms of these platforms. Certain keywords, hashtags, or even topics that challenge mainstream narratives seem to trigger shadow bans. As The Realist Juggernaut shares perspectives that often critique governmental actions or highlight controversial truths, our content is likely flagged and pushed down in the algorithm, limiting its reach.
It’s also worth noting that shadow banning disproportionately affects small businesses and startups, especially those that lack the massive marketing budgets needed to bypass these algorithms through paid promotions. This creates an uneven playing field, where larger corporations can continue to thrive while independent platforms like ours are left to fight for visibility.
The Fight for Visibility
Despite these obstacles, we remain committed to our mission. Platforms like Wimkin, which promote free speech and uncensored expression, have provided some refuge for our content. However, relying solely on alternative platforms isn’t enough. We need to continue pushing back against the tech giants that are curating and controlling the flow of information. Our audience deserves access to diverse perspectives, and we have the right to be heard.
For those of you who continue to follow and support us—whether through direct interaction on social media, email, or visiting our website—we deeply appreciate your loyalty. Your engagement makes a world of difference, and together, we can overcome these challenges.
A Call to Action
As we move forward, we encourage our audience to share our content more than ever. Help us break through the digital barriers by spreading our message and engaging with our posts. Every like, comment, share, and visit matters more than you might think in this battle for visibility.
We also call on the platforms themselves to be transparent about their content moderation policies. Shadow banning is a subtle form of censorship, and it stifles the open exchange of ideas that is critical to a free society. We must demand more from these platforms—they exist to serve us, not to control us.
Conclusion
The journey to regain visibility in the digital world is ongoing, and today’s findings further emphasize the seriousness of the shadow banning problem. The Realist Juggernaut and The Realist Pix will continue to push for fairness and transparency in the online space. We believe that in the end, truth will prevail, and those fighting for freedom of speech will be heard.
Let’s continue the fight, together. Share this article, raise awareness, and stay tuned for further updates as we document our ongoing battle against shadow banning.

“Shadow banning is a subtle form of censorship” … it IS censorship, plain and simple. And perhaps even more pernicious bc the author is unaware.
Thank you very much for your comment, Darryl! You’re absolutely right—shadow banning is indeed a form of censorship, and its subtle nature makes it all the more insidious. When someone’s voice is suppressed without their knowledge, it not only stifles free expression but also erodes trust in the platforms we rely on to share information. It’s important to bring these issues to light and ensure that transparency and fairness prevail. I hope you have a great day! 😎
We pay for WordPress too, but I don’t know for how much longer. I hear you about all the others charging and if we don’t pay, our posts are pushed to the bottom. Ugh
Solidarity is good. 😊 Good talking to you, I don’t always have enough time. I have to be elsewhere now, but catch you again soon. 🙂
Solidarity is always appreciated! 😊 It’s been great talking to you too. I completely understand how time slips away. I look forward to catching up again soon. Take care until then! 😎
You too. 🙂
True. Yet so many of those brave voices have died for speaking out. I salute them – but I’m reluctant to join them. Saying that ought to be ridiculous in a 21st- century western society, right? Yet more and more it becomes less so. Chilling.
I completely understand where you’re coming from, and it’s truly heartbreaking that this fear exists in what’s supposed to be a free society. It is chilling to think that we hesitate to speak out in a time where our voices should matter more than ever. Those who have died for their courage deserve every bit of admiration, but it’s natural to feel reluctant, especially in today’s climate. I agree, it shouldn’t be this way in the 21st century, but here we are. Perhaps the best we can do is continue speaking up in thoughtful, strategic ways to keep their legacy alive, while also protecting ourselves. Bravery doesn’t always have to mean recklessness. 😎
So true. I remember reading that, while it was the Suffragettes–to take a historic example–who got the cause of women’s suffrage noticed, through getting trampled by racehorses or force-fed in prison etc, it was the quieter Suffragists, working hard behind the scenes, who achieved more for the cause in practical terms. Both sorts are needed, perhaps, to effect change – so I’ll carry on in my own quiet way, and hope for better times.
That’s such a great point, and a powerful example with the Suffragettes and Suffragists. Both approaches—the louder, more visible sacrifices and the quieter, behind-the-scenes efforts—are essential for driving real change. I think we all play our part in different ways, and both are equally valuable. So continuing in your own quiet way is no less important—sometimes it’s those persistent, steady actions that make the most lasting impact. I’m right there with you, hoping for better times. 😎
It’s appalling that freedom of speech is under threat in this way. I sometimes wonder, when I post overtly critical-of-government material, if it isn’t being suppressed in some – or whether others just don’t want to engage with it. No wonder conspiracy theories abound. 🤨
Thank you for your comment. It’s frustrating, but I agree—it’s both. We’ve experienced firsthand how platforms suppress content, especially when it goes against mainstream or government narratives. Algorithms are increasingly tuned to favor more “neutral” or drama-filled content over posts that challenge the status quo. At the same time, some people may shy away from engaging with this kind of material due to fear of backlash or simply not wanting to confront uncomfortable truths. Unfortunately, this combination only fuels the rise of conspiracy theories because transparency is nowhere to be found. Hopefully, with enough awareness, we can push for more openness from these platforms.
It’s so true. I’ve drawn back from commenting on the political posts of others because I don’t want to get trolled, or ‘cancelled’. I’m sure there are many who agree with my views, but we’re all keeping quiet through fear. Not quite the free and open society we’re supposed to have. I think of past extremist regimes throughout the world where they ‘disappeared’ the intellectuals and other thinkers to facilitate their own brutal causes, and I worry for where we’re headed.
Thank you for sharing your experience. It’s a harsh reality we’re facing—where expressing genuine opinions, especially on political matters, feels like a risk not worth taking. Fear of being trolled, canceled, or targeted has led to a chilling effect on open discourse, and you’re right to draw comparisons to past regimes where intellectuals were silenced. But we shouldn’t let fear control us. The more we stay quiet, the more we lose the freedoms we cherish. We have to remind ourselves that real change has always started with brave voices speaking out, even in tough times. While it’s daunting, we must not be afraid to stand for what we believe in.
