Some people question who I am as a person, and I think that’s fair—especially since I know a bit about a lot of you too. For those who are new to The Realist Juggernaut and have reached out through email (therealistjug@proton.me), here’s a little insight: I’m John Neff. I’m a Writer, Photographer, Podcaster, Gamer, Computer Tech, Network Tech, Musician, and Entrepreneur. To me, these aren’t just titles; they’re parts of who I am and how I engage with the world. Each one lets me explore, create, and connect in different ways.
Photography
Photography is one of my passions. I’m not just snapping pictures; I’m capturing moments that tell a story or reflect something real. I aim to show things as they are, finding meaning in the details and beauty in the ordinary. Every shot is an opportunity to see the world in a new way.
Tech Expertise
As a computer and network tech with strong skills in cybersecurity, I’m always in my element troubleshooting, building, and optimizing. Tech is my toolkit—I’ve solved problems and helped people make the most of their digital lives. Whether it’s diving into the intricacies of computer systems, enhancing security protocols, or building systems from the ground up, I stay on top of the latest advancements to keep my skills sharp.
Music and Writing
Music is another creative outlet for me. I’m all about experimenting with sounds, rhythms, and harmonies. Writing, though, is already a big part of my life. Whether it’s blog posts, lyrics, poems, or other pieces, writing lets me share perspectives and ideas. Down the road, I plan to write a few books. When I do, they’ll be about things that matter—maybe real-life stories, maybe something different.
Entrepreneurship
As an entrepreneur, I like to bring my interests together and turn them into something meaningful. It’s about more than business; it’s about creating value, building connections, and pushing forward. I enjoy the challenge of making ideas come to life and seeing them make an impact.
Gaming: Fun and Challenge
Gaming is a serious part of my downtime. I’m into racing and fighting games, plus anything with music or a space theme. On Xbox, you’ll find me on Asphalt Unite (Xbox account: Lase5050) if you want to add me. And if you’re into Asphalt Unite, feel free to join my team—my player ID is asphalt 9u-h2c80. Gaming is where I unwind and keep the competitive spirit going.
On Oculus, I’m @JonLase—feel free to connect there too. And on PlayStation, I’m big on Mortal Kombat and Asphalt Unite—though it’s a bummer there’s no cross-platform yet, so I’m back to square one on PlayStation. No biggie; just more gameplay to enjoy.
Love for the Outdoors and Travel
I’m someone who enjoys spending time outdoors, whether it’s exploring new landscapes, taking in nature, or just enjoying the open air. Traveling is another passion of mine—I believe there’s always something new to discover, and seeing different places inspires me in countless ways. I’m also a gun enthusiast and a proud benefactor member of the NRA. These interests reflect my appreciation for freedom, adventure, and the chance to experience life from as many perspectives as possible.
Why People Matter Most to Me
At the heart of everything I do is a genuine care for people. Whether it’s through my work, my creative projects, or everyday interactions, I’m always thinking about how to make a positive impact. Helping others, sharing knowledge, and building connections are what drive me. That’s why I’m passionate about tech—because it empowers people to solve problems and improve their lives. It’s also why I write, take photos, and make music, as these creative outlets allow me to connect with others on a deeper level.
Knowing that what I share and create might resonate with someone out there means a lot to me. I don’t take anyone’s support for granted, and I’m always here to support others in any way I can.
