Thank you for reading or listening to The Realist Juggernaut. Independent journalism should be accessible to everyone.
I’m trapped in a box with four walls of glass,
A prison of memories that won’t let me pass.
Too thick to break, too cold to warm,
A place that survives through the eye of the storm.
No one can hear me; no one can see,
A ghost in a world where I’ll never be free.
The weight of my past, a chain at my core,
And I don’t want to be here no more.
They took what was mine, the music I made,
Turned it to gold while my efforts decayed.
The lyrics they stole, the melodies used,
And left me here broken, abandoned, abused.
I built their empires, I made them kings,
Gave them the light and the songs that they sing.
But now I’m forgotten, just dust on the floor,
And I don’t want to be here no more.
I grew up in shadows, my shoulders bore pain,
Punished for others, their sins left a stain.
A family of takers, their wants were their creed,
While I was left empty to fill every need.
No one to lean on, no one to trust,
Their promises crumbled, dissolving to dust.
I thought they’d be pillars, but they let me fall;
And I learned the hard way not to lean at all.
They called me selfish for needing a hand,
While they took their fill from the life I had planned.
Every betrayal, a scar that remains,
A constant reminder of unending chains.
I’m a man of talent, but no one believes,
A craftsman, a fighter, a mind that achieves.
But what does it matter if no one will care?
They take what I give, then act unaware.
They shadow-banned me, tried wiping my name,
Afraid of the truth I attach to their shame.
I called out their lies, their selfish disguise,
Now they hide me from fans with their digital ties.
But still, I stand stronger, my talents have grown,
My skills are my fortress, my mind is my throne.
So let them keep taking, let them disdain,
I’ll rise from their shadows, time and again.
This life wasn’t fair; I’ve seen that firsthand,
They build their kingdoms with my own hand.
Yet I’m still standing, I’m still alive,
And I’ll keep on pushing; I will survive.
But this place, this cycle, it’s not for me,
I was meant to soar, not drown in this sea.
I’ve done my time; I’ve endured the score,
But I don’t want to be here no more.
I’m more than the shadows, I’m more than their hate,
Their judgments don’t bind me, nor do they dictate.
I’m the fire they fear, the storm they can’t tame,
A spark in the dark that will burn through the shame.
So I write these lines, let the truth unfold,
Of a man who was silenced but never sold.
My fists may bleed on this glassy door,
But I’ll find my way out—I’ll be here no more.
They can’t stop the strength that rises inside,
I’ve been through their worst and still I reside.
A man with a mission, unbroken, unfazed,
Their greed was my spark, now watch it ablaze.
This isn’t an ending—it’s just the start,
I’m mending the cracks they left in my heart.
No walls can hold me, no lies can confine,
I don’t need their love; I’ve found it in mine.
So let them ignore, let them forget,
I’ll never give in, not now, not yet.
The glass will shatter, the walls will fall,
And I’ll rise again, stronger than them all.

Profound and resilient!
