God says someone needs to hear this, including myself. In a world like today, it’s no secret that life feels like an uphill battle. Every day seems harder than the last, with more obstacles piling up in front of us. Prices are soaring, while wages remain stagnant. People are caught in a cycle of taking what they can get, yet giving little back in return. It’s a vicious loop that drains not only our pockets but also our spirits.
We live in a world gripped by complacency, where mediocrity is the new standard and division runs rampant. We’re divided by politics, by opinions, by beliefs, and even by the way we live our lives. Trying to navigate this storm feels like trying to cut through thick ice with nothing but a butterknife. The harder you push, the more resistance you face, and it’s exhausting—mentally, emotionally, spiritually.
But in these moments, when the weight of the world feels unbearable, there’s a voice that whispers through the chaos. A voice that reminds us not to give up. God says, Hang in there.
It’s not always easy to hear Him over the noise of our struggles. The clamor of worry, frustration, and fear can drown out even the strongest of whispers. But if you pause for just a moment, take a deep breath, and truly listen, you’ll hear Him. You’ll feel Him.
God doesn’t promise that life will be without challenges. He doesn’t say the road will be smooth or that we’ll get everything we want exactly when we want it. But what He does promise is that He’ll be there, guiding us through it all. When we’re at our lowest, when it feels like there’s no way forward, He shows us a way—a way to keep moving, to keep fighting, to keep believing.
We’ve all seen moments where things worked out in ways we never expected, times when solutions appeared just when we needed them most. I will be the first to admit that God has done that for me more than a few times. That’s not chance; that’s Him. God always finds a way to make things work, even when we can’t see it. He moves through the people we meet, the opportunities that come our way, and the strength He places in our hearts.
So, in these trying times, when the world feels like it’s pressing down harder than ever, remember this: Hang in there. God’s not done with you. He sees your struggles, hears your prayers, and knows the weight you carry. And while it may not happen in an instant, He’s working behind the scenes, setting things in motion that you can’t even begin to imagine.
Keep your faith strong. Keep pushing forward. Keep listening for His voice, because even in a world like today, God has a plan. And if you trust Him, you’ll find that He’ll never leave you stranded. One way or another, He’ll make a way—because that’s what He does.
So hold on, because God’s voice is clear: Hang in there.

Thank you for sharing this beautiful message. It’s so comforting to be reminded that, even when life feels overwhelming and the world seems to be falling apart, God is still with us, guiding us through every storm.
Thank you, Willie! I’m glad this message brought you comfort. You’re absolutely right—no matter how overwhelming life gets, God’s presence and guidance are constant. Stay strong and blessed, and I hope you have a great night! 🙏😎
This is a great summary of the Christian experience, John. This post reminds me of these verses:
Proverbs 3:5-6
5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart
And do not lean on your own understanding.
6 In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He will make your paths straight.
There will be challenges but God’s Word tells us to “hang in there” in so many verses. We may not always understand certain things but all God asks is that we trust in Him.
Thanks for this post. I hope you have a great evening!
Thank you for your kind words, Chris! You’re right—Proverbs 3:5-6 is such a powerful reminder of where our focus should be: trusting in God, even when we don’t fully understand. It’s true—His Word encourages us in countless ways to ‘hang in there’ and rely on Him through every challenge. I appreciate you sharing those verses and adding them to the conversation. Wishing you a blessed evening as well! 😎
You’re welcome, John, and thank you for your reply and your kind words.
I’m hanging in there with you!
I recently heard a homily by my pastor based on the book, Rescued. Father said that the devil divides. If you hear a voice within saying, “He doesn’t like me. They’re rude. She doesn’t listen to me,” and so on, that is the devil trying to divide you from other people. Father suggested saying an Our Father when this happens, and then move on. I’m finding this does work.
Thank you for sharing this, Mary! It’s wonderful to hear how your pastor’s advice and the book Rescued have made an impact. You’re absolutely right—division is a powerful tool the devil uses, and turning to prayer, like the Our Father, is such a meaningful way to resist. It’s inspiring to know you’ve found this to work in your life. Your experience will undoubtedly encourage others to try the same. Thanks again, and have a blessed night! 😎
Amen 🙏🏻
