They stand before us, cloaked in light,
With silver tongues that speak of right.
They preach of justice, fair and free,
Yet chains are forged we cannot see.
The banners wave, the echoes call,
A war for truth, yet shadows fall.
For those who march with honor bright,
Are cast as villains in the fight.
The halls of power, gilded lies,
Mask the hunger in their eyes.
A promise made, a debt unpaid,
A broken world in deals betrayed.
Yet still the righteous raise their hands,
Defiant hearts in stolen lands.
Through fire, steel, and shattered trust,
They rise because they know they must.
The whispers hiss, the liars scheme,
They twist the night, distort the dream.
They paint the wicked as the pure,
Rewrite the past to stay secure.
But thunder rolls where justice stands,
With battle cries across the lands.
The brave push forward, backs unbowed,
Their voices cutting through the shroud.
For every lie that’s sold as right,
A blade of truth still pierces night.
No mask can hide, no cloak can veil,
The coming storm that tells the tale.
So take your stand, defy the spin,
Expose the rot that festers in.
For though deception sways the weak,
The strong still hear the truth speak.
The war rages on, but truth won’t fade,
For light still cuts through lies once made.
And though the just may bleed and fall,
Their voices rise—their cause stands tall.
Reality revealed, deception undone. The war rages on.

Thanks, John. This is a good description of our current situation. The war rages on.
