The Dutch multinational Ahold Delhaize, which owns several major U.S. grocery chains, has confirmed that its U.S. division was the target of a cyberattack that resulted in the theft of sensitive internal data.
Brands under the umbrella — including Stop & Shop, Hannaford, Food Lion, and Giant Food — experienced widespread website disruptions and halted online orders during the breach in November 2024, triggering concern over potential consumer data compromise.
