The California-based company, which pulled in over $2 billion in annual revenue, quietly submitted a notice to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on Tuesday evening, revealing that the attack was discovered on April 27. The notice confirmed that “certain manufacturing facilities have been operating at less than normal levels,” and that order fulfillment had been temporarily impaired.
Although no ransomware group has taken credit, Masimo’s phrasing and the extent of the disruption strongly suggest a targeted network-level attack aimed at operational systems tied directly to production and logistics.

Masimo is not a minor supplier. It ranks among the largest medical device manufacturers in the world, known primarily for its patient monitoring technologies, pulse oximeters, and automated diagnostic sensors used in intensive care units, emergency response, and surgical environments.
