In one coordinated raid, over 400 electronic devices were seized, including servers, smartphones, and desktop terminals believed to have been used for both data scraping and Telegram-based resale operations.
The bust reveals a troubling level of insider access or poor digital security hygiene, allowing black-market operators to exfiltrate citizen data from supposedly protected networks with apparent ease.

The cross-border nature of these schemes makes prosecution difficult and digital sovereignty fragile — especially in post-Soviet states with fragmented cybersecurity enforcement and economic incentive for data monetization.
