Hi John. It certainly will be interesting to see where this is all headed. Israel and Iran are at war and who knows when others will enter the fray. I’m no war hawk myself and am for it be avoided at all costs. I have been watching the tension between Israel and Iran (and its proxies) for years. It was several years back that reports came out about how difficult it would be for Israel to reach centrifuges so far underground. I think most people who followed this situation thought that a war like this would come.
I have now watched the night skies of several Israeli cities lit up by missiles and the mostly successful attempts to knock them out of the sky before they hit. I’ve been surprised that the Israelis have been able to knock out much of Iran’s resistance to the IDF Airforce. Latest reports that I have heard say that Israel is in control of the air space above most of Iran.
I think there could be serious prophetic implications in what we are seeing. That is the most interesting part of this entire thing to me.
It remains to be seen how badly Israel can damage Iran’s nuclear capabilities and how much effect this war will have on Iranians and Israelis alike. I always thought that an attack like this could only be successful with the help of the U.S. It’s amazing that Israel seems to have done most of this on their own with some help from the U.S. to protect cities in Israel.
Anyway, I just thought I’d throw my 2 cents in. Just like you I am watching this situation with a great deal of interest.
