FBI Offers Rewards as Search Continues for Sacramento Fugitive and Two Missing Children

Federal and local authorities are intensifying efforts to locate a Sacramento man accused of fleeing justice following the death of his partner, as well as his two young children who remain missing more than a year later.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation is offering a reward of up to $25,000 for information leading to the identification, arrest, and conviction of Camron Lee, also known by several aliases, including Saroeun Chea, Tae Won Lee, Taewon Lee, and “Major.” Investigators allege Lee fled after becoming a suspect in a violent death investigation in Sacramento County, California.

Authorities are also seeking information to help locate Athena Lee, now 5, and Mateo Lee, now 3. A separate reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information leading to the location and recovery of the two children. Tips may be provided anonymously through law enforcement channels.

Background of the Case

On July 8, 2024, Sacramento police responded to a call at a residence on Didot Circle in Sacramento. Inside the home, officers found Angelica Bravo, Lee’s partner, deceased. The children, who lived at the residence, were not present when officers arrived and were believed to be with Lee.

The investigation remained active as authorities worked to determine the circumstances surrounding Bravo’s death and the whereabouts of the children. On March 5, 2025, Lee was formally charged with murder in Sacramento County Superior Court after the county coroner concluded that homicidal violence could not be ruled out as a cause of death.

Prior to the murder charge, Lee had been charged on July 26, 2024, with four counts of possession of an assault weapon in Sacramento County Superior Court. Both children have brown hair and brown eyes. Authorities emphasize that the children may appear older now due to the passage of time.
