BOSTON, Mass. — Seven Massachusetts men were arrested during a recent child exploitation enforcement operation conducted by the FBI Boston Child Exploitation–Human Trafficking Task Force as part of ongoing efforts to combat child exploitation and human trafficking activity.
According to federal authorities, the operation was conducted between June 12 and June 16, 2026, and focused on identifying individuals allegedly seeking to exploit minors through illegal sexual activity.
FBI Boston special agents and task force officers, working alongside the Massachusetts State Police and local law enforcement partners, arrested the following individuals:
- Julio Aguilar, 42, of Saugus, Massachusetts
- Kenneth M. Berry, 45, of Middleboro, Massachusetts
- Manjil Bhusal, 21, of Somerville, Massachusetts
- Jonathan Matthew William Durocher, 34, of Brockton, Massachusetts
- Trevon Hubbard, 31, of Middleboro, Massachusetts
- Krish R. Patel, 26, of Quincy, Massachusetts
- Gerald Sabatinelli, 71, of Hyannis, Massachusetts
Authorities stated that all seven defendants were arrested and arraigned in Brockton District Court.
According to investigators, each defendant faces state charges including sex for a fee with a child under the age of 18, enticement of a child under the age of 16, and attempted rape of a child.
The operation was conducted as part of broader law enforcement efforts aimed at identifying individuals allegedly attempting to engage in the sexual exploitation of minors. Authorities have increasingly expanded these types of proactive investigations in recent years, particularly around major public events and periods of increased travel, where large crowds and heightened activity can create additional opportunities for criminal exploitation.
Federal and state law enforcement agencies continue to warn that child exploitation and human trafficking offenses frequently involve the use of online communications platforms, social media applications, messaging services, and other digital technologies that allow offenders to contact, groom, recruit, or attempt to exploit minors.
The FBI has repeatedly emphasized that child exploitation investigations remain among its highest law enforcement priorities, with specialized task forces operating throughout the United States to identify offenders, recover victims, and disrupt criminal networks involved in trafficking and child exploitation offenses.
The operation was carried out by FBI Boston’s Child Exploitation–Human Trafficking Task Force in partnership with the Massachusetts State Police.
Participating task force agencies included the East Bridgewater Police Department, New Bedford Police Department, Peabody Police Department, and Randolph Police Department.
Additional assistance was provided by the Boston Police Department, Brockton Police Department, Massachusetts State Police, and the FBI Albany Field Office.
The charges remain allegations. All defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.

Another story like this…Ugh. It is an indication of how messed up many lives are. I’m very thankful for those who worked together to catch these men. With this many organizations listed, it appears that there was a good amount of coordination involved. We need to do whatever it takes to protect our children and young people from men who want to harm them. I saw a story on YouTube the other day about a man who had custody of a 17 year old girl and I have no clue as to how he got that. Both of her parents had died and I think he was a relative. He was in his 50s’. Another relative alerted police and the man was arrested when it was discovered that he was forcing sexual relations on this young woman. The thought of it made me feel sick. Thankfully, they never showed the girl’s face but her voice was recorded talking to detectives. She sounded so much younger than 17 or maybe they had masked her voice. Basically, she felt trapped and had nowhere else to go for support and she was afraid to tell anyone. She did what she did to survive. I pray that she gets the emotional assistance that she will need to work through the evil that has been done to her. I hope that these men all get fair trials and that they get whatever sentence they deserve. It is good that these stories get to the general public. The general public needs to keep its eyes open for things that might be going on where they live.

I absolutely agree. Stories like this are difficult to read, but they also remind us why these investigations are so important. I also think you make a good point about the coordination involved. Cases like these often require multiple agencies working together to identify victims, gather evidence, and protect children from those who seek to exploit them.
The story you shared is heartbreaking. Sadly, there are children and young people who feel trapped and afraid to speak up. That is the unfortunate reality, and it is one of the things that can make these crimes so difficult to detect. Hopefully, she receives the care, support, and healing she deserves.
