FBI ADDS SATINDERJEET SINGH, ALSO KNOWN AS GOLDY BRAR, TO TEN MOST WANTED FUGITIVES LIST

LOS ANGELES — The FBI has added Satinderjeet Singh, also known as Goldy Brar, to its Ten Most Wanted Fugitives list and is offering a reward of up to $1 million for information leading to his arrest.

Singh is wanted in connection with a federal racketeering case involving the Lawrence Bishnoi Organized Crime Group, an organization federal authorities allege has been involved in violent crime, extortion, narcotics trafficking, and weapons offenses in the United States, Canada, and other countries.

He became the 543rd person added to the FBI’s Ten Most Wanted Fugitives list.

The FBI describes Singh as an alleged leader of the Bishnoi organization in North America and says he has ties to California, Canada, and India.

According to the FBI, Singh is wanted on federal charges that include racketeer influenced and corrupt organizations conspiracy, conspiracy to interfere and attempted interference with commerce by extortion, and conspiracy to distribute and possess with intent to distribute controlled substances.

A federal arrest warrant was issued for Singh on July 1, 2026, in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California. He has not been convicted of the charges.

The allegations stem from a broader federal investigation into several India-based transnational organized crime groups operating across multiple countries.

That investigation became public in July 2026 through Operation Hardball, a coordinated enforcement action that resulted in three federal indictments charging 37 defendants.

At the time of the July announcement, 24 defendants had been arrested or were already in custody. The FBI later reported that four additional fugitives had been captured and one had been determined to be deceased.

Five fugitives remained wanted at the time Singh was added to the Ten Most Wanted list.

In addition to Singh, the FBI identified the remaining fugitives as Major Singh, Sukhraj Singh Kang, an individual identified in federal records as No Name Given Kamal, and Gurpreet Singh.

One of the indictments centers on the Lawrence Bishnoi enterprise.

Federal prosecutors allege that Lawrence Bishnoi, who is imprisoned in India, directed a criminal organization with operations extending across international borders.

According to the indictment, Singh acted as one of Bishnoi’s trusted lieutenants and allegedly helped direct members and associates of the organization.

The federal case alleges that the organization used violence, threats, and criminal activity to expand its influence and generate revenue.

The FBI says the alleged conduct attributed to the enterprise includes targeted killings, shootings, kidnappings, extortion, assaults, narcotics trafficking, and weapons trafficking.

Those allegations remain subject to the federal court process.

The case also includes allegations involving the June 18, 2023 killing of a prominent political and religious leader identified in federal court records as H.S.N.

The victim was shot outside a Sikh temple in Surrey, British Columbia, Canada.

Federal prosecutors allege that Bishnoi and Singh ordered the killing. The indictment also alleges that the Bishnoi enterprise was involved in major narcotics activity in Southern California.

From March 2024 through July 2025, federal investigators allege that members of the organization stole approximately 520 kilograms, or about 1,146 pounds, of cocaine in the greater Los Angeles area from rival drug trafficking groups.

That alleged narcotics activity forms part of the broader racketeering case.

The FBI has also described the Bishnoi organization as operating through an international network of members and associates.

According to federal authorities, the enterprise used online communications, social media, and other digital platforms to promote acts of violence and strengthen its reputation.

Federal investigators allege that this public display of criminal activity was used to intimidate potential victims and support extortion efforts.

Canada designated the Bishnoi organization as a terrorist entity in September 2025. That designation is separate from the federal criminal charges pending against Singh in the United States.

The Ten Most Wanted designation substantially increases the Bureau’s public effort to locate him.

FBI Los Angeles Assistant Director in Charge Patrick Grandy said the purpose of adding Singh to the list is to expand public awareness and increase the likelihood that investigators receive information leading to his capture.

The FBI is offering up to $1 million for information leading to Singh’s arrest.

According to his FBI wanted notice, Singh is approximately 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighs about 220 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.

The FBI lists several aliases, including Goldy Brar, Satinderjeet Singh Brar, Satinder Jeet, and Satinder Jit Singh Brar. The wanted poster lists three possible dates of birth: March 11, 1994; June 11, 1994; and November 6, 1994.

His place of birth is listed as Punjab, India. The FBI says Singh speaks Punjabi and English. He is believed to have ties to Sacramento and Fresno, California, as well as Canada, India, and Mexico.

The Bureau considers him armed and dangerous and an escape risk.

The FBI is warning members of the public not to approach Singh.

Anyone with information concerning his location is being asked to contact the FBI at 1-800-CALL-FBI or submit information through the Bureau’s tip system.

Tips may also be provided through local FBI offices, U.S. embassies, or U.S. consulates.

The FBI states that tips may be provided anonymously and that confidentiality will be maintained.

The case is being investigated by the FBI Los Angeles Field Office, Los Angeles Police Department, and Royal Canadian Mounted Police, with assistance from additional domestic and international law enforcement partners.

Assistant U.S. Attorneys Declan Conroy and Christopher Jones of the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Central District of California are prosecuting the case.

Singh’s placement on the Ten Most Wanted list does not establish guilt. He remains a fugitive federal defendant charged with serious crimes that must be proven in court.

The FBI’s immediate objective is his arrest.

Until that occurs, the Bureau is using one of its most visible fugitive programs to expand the search for a man investigators allege played a leadership role in a transnational criminal organization operating across several countries.
