Have you ever noticed how the things that matter the most—the information that could actually make a difference in our lives—often get the least attention? I’ve seen it time and time again. When I post about something important, something crucial for people to know, those posts are often the ones that get ignored. It’s frustrating, but even more than that, it’s a reflection of a much larger issue we’re facing in this country.
We’re in a downward spiral, and part of the reason for that is people aren’t paying attention to the things that truly matter. We live in a time where distractions are endless, where entertainment and trivial content flood our feeds, while critical issues that affect our future barely get a glance. This isn’t just happening online—it’s happening in every aspect of our society.
We’re so wrapped up in the noise that we fail to see the bigger picture. This is how we lose sight of what’s important. This is how division spreads, how misinformation thrives, and how the powers that be continue to take advantage of our distraction.
We should be able to see what’s truly going on. This isn’t just a political or social issue—it’s a spiritual fight. It’s being thrown right in front of your faces, and yet so many people just turn a blind eye to it. It’s really a shame. I see things, I know things, and I know what’s coming. The Bible says in Matthew 7:7, “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.” No one can help you unless you first take the step to seek the truth and open yourself to it.
So I say this, I write this to help you learn a truth—but it won’t help you if you don’t take the time out and read it for yourself.
For those of you who do take the time, I want to thank you. You’re the reason the truth still has a fighting chance, and your willingness to engage with what’s real is a beacon in these uncertain times. It means more than you know.
The only way this country can heal and improve is by first acknowledging the real issues we face. Sounds like hard work, right? That’s because it is! If we continue to ignore these problems, the consequences will be severe. Whether you have kids now, are thinking about having them in the future, or even if children aren’t part of your plan, either way, kids are very important—they are the future! The choices we make today will deeply impact the world they grow up in. If you think things are tough now, just keep waiting and doing nothing—because in their future, things will be even more frightening. Without the truth, they’ll never know what once was. They’ll grow up in a world where what’s wrong is seen as right, and what’s right is viewed as wrong.
But here’s something to consider: I’m only human. There will come a day when I’m no longer here to write about these truths, to expose the things you need to know. One less voice speaking up about what’s real and what’s not. We’re already witnessing a lessening of those who are willing to speak the truth. When those people are gone, myself included, you’ll be left in a world where truth will be lied about nearly 80% of the time, and the path to finding the real truth will become incredibly narrow.
It’s the same decline we’re seeing in hospitals and nursing care centers. Care is becoming less and less of a priority, and just like with the truth, people are starting to care less about what really matters. The system is steadily getting worse, and if we don’t wake up to what’s happening, we’ll be left in a world where not only the truth, but also compassion, becomes a rare commodity.
Ignoring the truth doesn’t make it go away. It only makes the problems worse. Sooner or later, we’ll all be forced to confront the consequences. That’s what’s happening now, right before our eyes. We’re too focused on what’s comfortable and easy, while the fabric of our society slowly unravels.
This isn’t just my frustration—this is a call to action. We need to start paying attention to what truly matters. We need to recognize the truth while there are still people willing to speak it, because when those voices are gone, the world you’re left in will be one where lies dominate, and finding the truth will be like searching for a needle in a haystack.
The truth is there, and it’s always been there. The question is, will you listen before it’s too late? Before all the truth is erased—truth and the people who spoke it, erased from existence.

Hi John. An important subject, which relates to others that we’ve discussed here before. Yesterday somebody posted a meme on Facebook to the effect that ‘The issue with the media is that it aims to convince us that the views of 10% are in fact the views of 90%’, and that’s pretty much how it is here in the UK. There a self-styled ‘woke’ liberal elite who dictate their views as though these are unassailable truths, and anyone who disagrees with them publicly gets trolled/cancelled/called a ‘right-wing thug’ – you get the picture. In my view, most people who don’t agree are frightened to voice a view, for fear of those things – freedom of speech under attack or what? When I post politically-focussed memes I get a very low level of reaction – either they don’t care or they’re frightened – and I suspect my posts aren’t getting the exposure they should because the system is geared to suppress such conent. What to do? Keep on posting, I guess, but other than that I don’t know. It makes me so sad and angry that our society has come to this. 🙁
Thank you very much for your thoughtful comment, Laura! I agree, it’s troubling to see how freedom of speech has come under attack in so many parts of the world, including here in the U.S. and over there in the UK, as you’ve mentioned. The media does seem to manipulate narratives, giving disproportionate weight to the opinions of a select few while silencing the voices of those who dissent. It’s disheartening to witness how many are afraid to speak their minds for fear of being canceled or labeled in ways that dismiss their arguments entirely.
Unfortunately, this suppression isn’t just limited to what we see in public but extends to the algorithms that govern which posts gain visibility and which are buried. As you said, it feels like posting politically-focused content gets diminished exposure, and that’s likely by design in many cases. The frustration is real, but continuing to post and share important messages, despite the challenges, is part of the solution. We need more people who are willing to stand firm in their beliefs, keep the dialogue going, and push back against the overwhelming tide of censorship. It’s only by doing so that the truth can continue to make its way through the cracks.
My business is suffering because of this. We are pushing forward and continuing to fight back no matter how hard it gets. These corporations like Facebook and X, and most others, control the narrative, and they are starting to choose which people and businesses are being seen and heard. Eventually, I predict if this continues, with what these governments and companies/corporations/big tech are doing, they will create their own vacuum. People will rise up if this doesn’t stop; it’s just a matter of time. I’ve studied the way things are going, and it’s not looking good either.
Thanks again for sharing your insight. You’re certainly not alone in feeling this way, and I hope we can keep this conversation going to encourage others to speak out as well. 😎
Thanks, John. It’s good to know that there others of like mind. I’m sorry that your business is suffering through this, but I fear it’s as you say, media manipulation, and the growth of social media has increased their reach accordingly. I really do worry about the outcome of this, because as you also say there’ll come a point at which the suppressed majority won’t sit and take it anymore. They’ll stand up and fight for their rights, and the outcome won’t be pretty. I guess we can only do our best, but I fear we’re not going in a good direction. 🤔
You’re welcome, Laura! We’re definitely not heading in a good direction. Unfortunately, it seems like things are getting worse rather than better. 😑
We’re at Helms’ Deep, hoping for Gandalf to ride over the hill with reinforcements! 😐
You’re absolutely right! It feels like we’re in that critical moment, waiting for the tide to turn. Let’s just hope our Gandalf comes through in time. 😎
Bearing in mind that ‘A wizard is never late. He arrives exactly when he intends to.’ 🤔
Very true! Gandalf’s timing is always spot on, even if it keeps us on the edge of our seats. Let’s hope the same holds true for us this time! 😎
🙏🙏🙏
I can definitely agree with this. I’m all for people speaking their mind and not being censored. My issue is with the news and the sensationalism of some of it.
Thank you very much for your insight, Laura! Absolutely, people should have the freedom to speak their mind without fear of being censored. The sensationalism in the news is definitely a big part of the problem. It skews the truth and distracts from the real issues that need attention. It’s one thing to inform, but it’s another to manipulate people’s focus through exaggerated or misleading stories. Thanks again for sharing your thoughts, I greatly appreciate it! 😎
No problem at all John 😊 have a great night!
You as well! 😎
