The future isn’t waiting. It’s approaching — fast.
And not just in the form of tech, conflict, or systems of control… but in purpose. In alignment. In truth.
There’s a lot that needs to be done. And time is only tick… ticking… away.
We look around and see a world scrambling for meaning — powering forward on artificial progress while spiritual integrity fades into the background.
But those of us who walk with eyes open, who discern the times, we feel something deeper.
A stirring. A shift and a moment not to be feared… but faced.
“And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.”
— Romans 13:11
There is work to be done. Not just on the pages of TRJ. Not just in the streets. But in our hearts.
Because the war ahead won’t be won with intellect alone — it’ll be won through conviction, clarity, and the covering of God.
Let’s be real. We’re not perfect. We miss things and we fall short.
But we don’t quit. Because we know that when God is with us — not even the ticking clock can stand in our way.
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord,
“plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
— Jeremiah 29:11
We don’t worship algorithms and we don’t put our faith in systems.
We walk with Jesus Christ, the only one who sees all timelines — and still chooses us.
This week, while the world keeps spinning and others drown in distraction, we refocus.
We set our eyes above the noise and we move forward, but not alone.
We praise the name of the Father, we give glory to Jesus Christ, and we thank the Holy Spirit for wisdom, for peace, for conviction — and for waking us up when the world said “stay asleep.”
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding;
In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.”
— Proverbs 3:5-6
Let Us Pray:
Father God,
We thank You for this new week.
Not because it’s easy. Not because we’re perfect. But because You are faithful.
Give us strength where we’re weak, focus where we drift, and peace where we’re anxious.
Help us move with purpose — not passivity.
Help us stay grounded in truth — not trends.
Remind us that time is short — but You are eternal.
Jesus, be our guide.
Holy Spirit, be our fire.
Father, be our covering — in every decision we make.
In the mighty name of Jesus Christ,
Amen.

Amen, John. This is an excellent post with wonderful Bible verses.
I find in the Christian walk this is so important:
“This week, while the world keeps spinning and others drown in distraction, we refocus.
We set our eyes above the noise and we move forward, but not alone.”
It is so easy to get distracted and we need to refocus constantly.
Refocusing doesn’t have to be difficult. Sometimes all it takes is reading one Psalm or a devotion from your favorite Bible teacher to remember that we are not alone, that God is a prayer away, that this world is passing away, and that our forever will be in a place where there is no more pain or death.
I see you’ve been quite prolific these past few weeks and I haven’t had a chance to get to most of what you have written. I’ll try to see if I can get to some of your recent posts this week. I do like to know a bit about what’s going on in the world you specialize in. Anyway, I appreciate your work and thanks again for this encouraging post!
God’s blessings…
Thank you very much, Chris — I really appreciate that, especially coming from someone grounded in the walk.
You’re absolutely right — refocusing doesn’t need to be complicated. Sometimes just one verse… one moment in the Word… can reset everything. It’s powerful how God meets us right where we are, even in the middle of all this noise.
No worries at all about catching up — I know life moves fast. Just the fact that you’re even making time to read through it means a lot. That alone says plenty.
Thanks again, and may God continue to strengthen and guide you through the noise.
We’re not alone in this — not even for a second.
God’s blessings to you too, Chris. 😎
You’re welcome, John, and thank you for your kind reply. Amen, we are not alone even for a second!
How beautiful.
Yes!
Thank you for this in particular, “We praise the name of the Father, we give glory to Jesus Christ, and we thank the Holy Spirit for wisdom, for peace, for conviction…”
Thank you so much, Sheila — in a world where chasing power, influence, and fake peace seems more appealing to some, at least we’re not ashamed to say exactly where our help comes from. The Father. The Son. The Holy Spirit. 🙏😎
And this is a heartwarming and beautiful thing, John. Amen.
Thank you, Sheila! All glory to God — always.
Amen 😎
