Ann Mary Zheng, 27, of Land O’Lakes, Florida, has been charged by indictment with assisting after the fact and evidence tampering related to the actions of her brother, Alen Zheng, who is accused of attempting to detonate an improvised explosive device at the MacDill Air Force Base Visitor’s Center in Tampa. If convicted on all counts, she faces a maximum penalty of up to 30 years in federal prison. The indictment also includes a forfeiture allegation seeking $5,000, identified as proceeds connected to the charged conduct.

According to federal charging documents, Ann Mary Zheng is alleged to have knowingly provided assistance after becoming aware that her brother had attempted to damage government property by means of fire or explosion.
