Gonzalez was last seen during the early morning hours of April 17, 2026, at the I-95 South Brevard County Rest Area in Grant-Valkaria, Florida. According to investigative findings, he had departed the Port of Brunswick, Georgia, on April 16 after picking up a shipment of vehicles destined for delivery in Miami, Florida. The transport involved a vehicle hauler carrying multiple cars.

On April 17, Gonzalez’s truck was located in Port Wentworth, Georgia, under circumstances that immediately raised investigative concern. Several vehicles originally loaded onto the hauler were missing at the time of recovery, indicating potential cargo theft activity in conjunction with the disappearance. The condition and location of the truck suggested it had been abandoned.

Following coordinated search and recovery efforts, a body was located in Coastal Georgia and has now been formally identified as Gonzalez. Authorities have not released details regarding the condition of the remains or the precise cause of death, pending further forensic examination.
