BEND, Oregon — The FBI is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying additional potential victims as part of an ongoing sexual assault investigation involving Robert Ray Warner.
According to federal authorities, Warner was indicted in connection with an alleged sexual assault that occurred on or about Nov. 25, 2025, on the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs Indian Reservation in Oregon.
Federal investigators allege that Warner sexually assaulted a woman on the reservation. Following the incident, he was arrested by the Warm Springs Police Department and has remained in custody while the case proceeds through the federal court system.
The FBI announced that investigators are seeking information from anyone who may have had contact with Warner and believes they may have been a victim of sexual violence.
Authorities often issue public requests for additional victims in cases involving alleged sexual offenses when investigators believe there may be other individuals who have not yet come forward or when they are attempting to determine the full scope of a suspect’s alleged conduct.
The FBI emphasized that victims of sexual violence frequently face significant challenges when reporting crimes and stated that the bureau works to support victims throughout both the investigative and legal process.
Federal authorities are encouraging anyone who may have information related to Warner or who believes they may have been victimized to contact investigators.
The investigation is being conducted by the FBI in partnership with the Warm Springs Police Department.

As the case remains pending, the allegations contained in the indictment have not been proven in court. Warner is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.
